This high-country elk hunt will take place on the beautiful western slopes of Colorado on the Grand Mesa, the largest flat top mountain in the world. Resilient Outfitters has a great reputation, with many praising their knowledgeable guides, strong connection to the local area, and commitment to providing a quality hunting experience, particularly for elk hunting in the Grand Mesa National Forest. On this five-day, six-night hunt, you will be staying at our backcountry base camp in wall tents. Hunt dates are September 2025 or 2026. The hunt area will be Willow Creek Unit 421 at elevations 8,500-11,000 feet (about twice the elevation of Denver). Being that it’s a motorized area, we will use ATVs to access our camp and the hunting areas where we will then hunt on foot. Due to the extreme nature of this hunt, anyone bidding should be in good physical shape at the time of the hunt! The mountains are tough, and if you come unprepared you won’t be able to take full advantage of all this amazing hunt will offer. Resilient Outfitters provides all the lodging and food for the week as well as access to ATVs. You will be on a one-on-one guided hunt. Just bring your hunting gear and your elk tag.
